Note: At the time of publication, Local Land to Local Hands is still fermenting and conditioning in Jester King's tanks, with additional tasting details and final artwork still to come. Because farmhouse beer conditioning times can vary, August 26 is the brewery's firmest estimated ship date. As a result, orders containing this beer will experience a slight shipping delay until conditioning is complete and the beer is ready for release. Once available, distribution will be extremely limited, with only a small allocation within Texas and no distribution outside the state, making this a rare opportunity to experience one of Jester King's newest collaborative releases.

Local Land to Local Hands marks the next chapter in one of Jester King's most community-focused brewing projects. While sharing its name and philosophy with the brewery's earlier Local Land to Local Hands Cold IPA, this is an entirely new beer—a Texas Farmhouse Ale that showcases a different recipe, ingredients, and brewing approach. Brewed with lime, green coriander, and prickly ash leaf sourced from Trosi Farms in Elgin, Texas, the beer was created in collaboration with Pullman Market in San Antonio and the Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group. Like its predecessor, it highlights a sustainable cycle by returning spent brewing grain to local farms for use as livestock feed.

Built around Jester King's signature farmhouse fermentation, this new release is expected to showcase vibrant citrus aromatics, fresh herbal notes, and subtle peppery spice layered over a crisp, refreshing finish. While complete tasting notes will be finalized once conditioning is complete, the focus remains on expressing the character of locally grown ingredients through traditional farmhouse brewing techniques, creating a beer that is distinct from the previously released Cold IPA.

Designed to be enjoyed fresh, Local Land to Local Hands should showcase its bright citrus, herbal aromatics, and expressive farmhouse character at their peak upon release. Its lively, dry profile pairs beautifully with grilled Gulf seafood, roasted chicken, chèvre, citrus-marinated pork, fresh salads, and herb-forward dishes that complement the beer's Texas-grown ingredients.

Founded in 2010 on a 165-acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country just outside Austin, Jester King Brewery has earned an international reputation for producing distinctive farmhouse ales inspired by traditional brewing methods and the unique environment of Central Texas. Rather than relying on a single brewing style, the brewery crafts an ever-evolving portfolio of farmhouse ales, lagers, IPAs, stouts, and mixed-fermentation beers, many of which incorporate locally grown ingredients and native Texas microorganisms to express a genuine sense of place.

Patience and craftsmanship are central to Jester King's brewing philosophy. Many of its farmhouse ales undergo extended maturation and natural conditioning, allowing complex flavors to develop over time rather than being rushed to market. This thoughtful approach has helped establish Jester King as one of America's most respected farmhouse breweries, recognized for producing beers that balance tradition, innovation, and exceptional quality.

Beyond brewing, Jester King is deeply committed to supporting local agriculture and sustainability. The brewery regularly partners with nearby farms, ranches, and food producers to highlight Texas-grown ingredients while strengthening the connection between brewing and the surrounding community. Every release reflects the brewery's belief that exceptional beer begins with exceptional ingredients and a lasting relationship with the land.
